I'm stuck on some more code. I need to sanitize data saved from a form. I can't remove the quotes from /("username")/gi. The output should be /(username)/gi (I think).
Take a look at the code and post any help in the comments.

Hey, cface, this is Thrasymachus. I was banned a long-time ago and of course the admin(Aillas?), was always too cowardly to even publicly display in the forum settings who was banned.
ReplyDeleteIt seems hikiculture was hacked to me. I guess it is for the best, most people were just using it as a crutch to avoid investing time in real life socialization. In other words they would have tended to use it to end up like the admin(Aillas/chair/whatever he keeps changing his nick) who is about my age, 31, but never even attempted to get a job or do anything in life besides running that forum. Obviously that is not good. So whatever disgruntled user or ex-user hacked it, did some good. Being a hiki should not be a permanent state you stay in, it is just somewhere to visit and move on. Who knows maybe even Aillas will have to get a life now! But I doubt it, that guy seems incorrigible.
